My first step into the world of entrepreneurship was back in 2008 when I decided to sell photography services (even if I was just barely getting started). I quickly got a few contracts with a Salsa school and some private events and even if I probably lost money on the first few contracts, I was so excited to discover the feeling that it was possible to generate money on my own, doing something I loved… I knew then that I would never be able to go back and fit in a normal job.
I started to take more contracts and charge more, up to the point where I was able to support most of my student expenses with the gigs I did. Over the past 10 years I’ve done dozens of events, portrait sessions, sold travel photography, got some wedding gigs, did a few maternity photoshoot, created stock images, won a few photography prizes, etc.
Today I mostly do photography for fun but I am still generating a small income flow from stock images sales and donations.
Some of my clients and gigs : Ville de Montréal, AED, AéESG, ÉTS, LANÉTS, FEUQ, Bar le Jockey, iWeb and many more.
