Sail Away Pictures is a small photography project that I launched for fun not long after Unsplash started to get some traction a few years ago. I thought that the idea of giving high resolution images with no strings attached was a really good way to contribute to the creative community so I started to give away my own images.
Since the launch of the project my images have been downloaded over 1.5M times and used in thousands of websites / projects across the web and even on some book covers and merchandise.
I receive steady donations from happy community members due to the impact of the photography on their work.
